What to put on a pressure washing estimate (free checklist)
The sections a clear pressure washing estimate needs, a printable checklist and a simple pricing formula.
A clear estimate wins trust before you ever start the machine. Use this checklist to build your own pressure washing estimate template, on paper, in a word processor or in a spreadsheet.
The sections every estimate needs
| Section | What goes in it |
|---|---|
| Your business | Name, phone, email, and any license or insurance details you're required to show where you work |
| Customer & site | Name, service address, contact, date of the walk-around |
| Quote number & dates | A unique number, the issue date and a valid-until date |
| Line items | Each surface or service with its measurement (sq ft, linear ft or each), unit price and amount |
| Adjustments | Discount, minimum job charge, travel fee, sales tax where it applies |
| Deposit & terms | Deposit due, payment methods, what happens if weather moves the date |
| Scope notes | What's included and what isn't (for example, stain removal not guaranteed) |
| Acceptance | Signature and date line |
A simple pricing formula
subtotal = sum of lines − discount (raised to your minimum job charge if lower)
total = subtotal + travel fee + sales tax
Set your unit prices from your own costs: crew time, chemicals, fuel, equipment wear and overhead. Measure every surface on site; a tape measure or a mapping tool beats eyeballing.
